Bains des Pâquis is a local institution with a slightly alternative vibe. Dishes are not fancy but good quantity and decent quality at very reasonable prices. In winter, a decent fondue is available. In summer, Bains des Pâquis is also a nice place for bathing.

Public transportation is best to get around
From the studio apartment, use buses 1 and 25 to get to the Geneva main train station and from there to any other part of the city quickly and conveniently. 1 hour network fares cost from CHF2-3, daily or weekly passes are available from the TPG ("Transports publics genevois", https://www.tpg.ch/).
