Great coffee and drink! Open 7-4 most days with a warm and inviting atmosphere. You can walk here from my place in less than 5 minutes. Just turn right when you walk down the drive and turn left on Detroit and you'll be sipping on a seasonal latte and enjoying a delicious breakfast before you know it! A great spot to sit alone and read a book, or take the whole family for a morning munch.

Only a 15-ish minute drive, but HIGHLY worth it! You can also have it delivered. Carryout or delivery only right now, but this is my favorite food in town! You can't go wrong, but I recommend their Hunan flavor of anything you might enjoy. Eat it while its hot and support this amazing local family owned business.

You can't go wrong, but I recommend their Hunan flavor of anything you might enjoy. Eat it while its hot and support this amazing local family owned business.

Take a walk down the Chessie Circle Trail to the river overlook. Converted from an old rail road track, this great path is a peaceful 3 mile round trip walk from my front door to the river view and back.

A Toledo Classic! A tip from my wise mother: depending on your family size, if you know you like to go at least once a year, it can sometimes be cheaper to buy a family membership instead of just paying for a day's admission! Dig into the prices and see if that's you.

One of the countries best museums! Admission is free and there is so much to discover here. Worth at LEAST a few hours. Oh- and don't sleep on the art museum cafe. The food is GREAT and very well priced. It's like an expensive restaurant meal at a cafe price. (Parking does incur a cost, but you can also park in the neighborhoods nearby for free and make a short walk over.)

If you're around on a Thursday in the summer, visit the Perrysburg Farmer's market for a great night. A little over 10 minute's drive, this quaint and historic downtown does always a great time make with its local artisans and local food always ready to entertain.

Bowling Green has great downtown with local coffee and breweries, a record shop, used book store, and more! Highly recommended on a slow Saturday morning.
