Best whale watching spot just south of Byron Bay and great coastal walk going south towards Boulders Beach. Dog friendly (on leash only). Free parking. Once at the top after the stairs, make an effort to do a further walk heading to your right & down towards Boulders Beach.
Best Japanese in a lovely rural Byron hinterland setting, amongst a handful of shops in historic Federal. Go via Bangalow, then via Coolamon Scenic Drive to get there and if Crystal Castle floats your boat, its close by. Also on route to Minyon Falls.
