A venue reborn in Braamfontein, a booming and dynamic part of town, where Péguillan and his 2 partners, Dan Sermand & Kevin Naidoo, developed a concept that would lead the way in offering the best possible creative expression platform for jazz musicians in Johannesburg. After months of intense brainstorming, consultations with musicians and negotiations with stakeholders around the nature of the new venture, The Orbit, a Live Music venue and Bistro, finally came to life.

81 De Korte StA venue reborn in Braamfontein, a booming and dynamic part of town, where Péguillan and his 2 partners, Dan Sermand & Kevin Naidoo, developed a concept that would lead the way in offering the best possible creative expression platform for jazz musicians in Johannesburg. After months of intense brainstorming, consultations with musicians and negotiations with stakeholders around the nature of the new venture, The Orbit, a Live Music venue and Bistro, finally came to life.

Visit the world famous Apartheid Museum. Here you will learn about the history and struggle of South Africa during a decade of apartheid. The Apartheid Museum, the first of its kind, illustrates the rise and fall of apartheid. An architectural consortium, comprising several leading architectural firms, conceptualised the design of the building on a seven-hectare stand. The museum is a superb example of design, space and landscape offering the international community a unique South African experience. The exhibits have been assembled and organised by a multi-disciplinary team of curators, film-makers, historians and designers.

Offering the world’s greatest safari experience, it is home to a diverse number of different species including the Big Five, namely the Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and the endangered Rhino. The Kruger has many species of antelope such as Zebra and Impala among others. The park spans over 2 million hectares
and contains a wealth of flora and fauna as well as famous
archaeological sites. The Kruger National Park is unmatched in terms of the diversity and quantity of African wildlife and the beautiful vastness of its landscapes.

They set up tables and sell imported books at very reasonable prices. The Uber pick-up spots are easy to find. It's a quiet mall with all your everyday shopping needs. Banks, supermarkets, eateries and a few clothing shops. Very convenient.
