Bend's Roundabouts
Bend has a lot of roundabouts and they are a great way to keep traffic moving if you do it right. Drive through roundabouts slowly so others can get in, always signal to exit the roundabout, drivers going around the roundabout have the right of way. Be nice, you're in Bend!

In Bend and Central Oregon to relax and get away? Live like a local while you are here. Don't honk at people; eventually traffic will move. Don't speed, we like to bike and walk around town. Let people in while you are driving. The parkway is not a freeway, the speed limit is 45 mph. It is just a way through town without a lot of stoplights. Turn your cell phone off if you are on hiking trails. It can wait. Choose local restaurants and coffee shops and skip the big chains. Support those living here and tip well. Thank you and enjoy Bend!
