A lovely cafe in the back of the Provincial store with a very pretty little courtyard. Nice brunch options and good coffee. Sometimes you can even get a REALLY yummy doughnut from Jane Dough Doughnuts in there. I LOVE these!

A cafe on the waterfront at the Breakwater. It's particularly lovely when the weather is decent - you can sit on the deck and watch the water. It can be a little noisy inside (concrete floors inside) so we prefer sitting on the deck, but a great spot and popular.

Two Tarts Baking - not far off the main st. Nice coffee (Australian brand Mahalia coffee) and a wide variety of other hot and cold cafe drinks. A wonderful array of cakes and sweet creations.

Sightseeing
Terrific example of the natural spaces around Warrnambool and the Western Plains. Tower Hill is home to walks, BBQs, and a wide range of wildlife and an information centre. Great spot to visit with the family.

During the winter months, Warrnambool is often a stop for the migrating whales. The whale-watching platform gives lots of information about the animals as well as being the perfect spot to watch them passing.
