Everything you need in one place! It is a great place in the day there’s small boutiques and nice places for lunch and cafes and a small supermarket. There’s a river where you can take a little boat trip.
In the evening there’s lovely restaurants and bars. Muse is quite posh with great food and wine and Uno is a nice Italian. Tom Hawks is a recommend steak house.

Yarm

Scruffy Duck and
Neanderthals for breakfast and brunch (also has vegan options)
Has a highly recommended beauty salon for gel nails and lashes called “Hello Beautiful”. You can find her on Facebook or Instagram

Sightseeing
York is must see place. It’s rich in history and a beautiful place. You can easily spend a day here. Takes an hour to drive or you can hop on the train at Thornaby train station and go direct.
Lots of places to visit! There’s a train museum, Viking museum, York Cathedral, Betty tea room (can get busy and there’s usually a que so book in advance)
There’s lots of great shops and and places to eat.
