A great little pub and a popular stop for cyclists. We visited for a Sunday roast and we can certainly see why they're famous. We opted for the roast beef, two huge slices that melted in the mouth with the biggest yorkshire puddings we've ever seen. The portions are huge. The staff friendly.

The Swan Inn
The StrandA great little pub and a popular stop for cyclists. We visited for a Sunday roast and we can certainly see why they're famous. We opted for the roast beef, two huge slices that melted in the mouth with the biggest yorkshire puddings we've ever seen. The portions are huge. The staff friendly.
See a real working mill, make flour (selected dates) and buy works of art, delicious food and farm shop, finish off your trip with a scenic walk along the river Otter to walk off the huge scones. You can follow the river Otter to Budleigh Salterton from here.

We never miss the evening concerts in the summer or watch lambs being born on lambing Sunday. Check out if anything is happening during your stay, you won't be disappointed.
