The aker river runs through most of Oslo, starting at the drinking water source of Maridalsvannet about 10km north of the Opera house.
I strongly recommend taking a walk along the river, starting just a hundred meters from the apartment. Walk north and take plenty of stops for food and drinks along the way!
My recommendations:
- grab a beer at "Blå"
- stroll by "Mathallen" (the food hall) and sample some of the food
- have something to drink at "Café Månefisken"
When you're ready to return home, just walk eastwards and take the tram home to Schous plass (line 11, 12 or 13).
Noe that the map placement of Akerselva in Airbnb is clearly wrong. Just look for the blue river on the map :-)
