The Pier

This pier is very close by & is officially where the Ironman course is. So you will always see swimmers out there & if you talk to people, you can find your group to swim with. On other side of pier is this sandy beach pool like shallow water for you to just swim, float & sunbathe. Since this is by the hotel, you will find SUP & kayak rentals close by. There are also bathrooms and outdoor showers to rinse after swimming. Also a great place to walk around as it is close to downtown & has amazing night views.

There is a boat club here & a volley ball court. Great spot for outrigger canoe, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming etc. There is Sheraton here where night manta rays tour boats take you to. We have swam here on that spot during day time & have encountered manta rays few times. When there is no surf, water can be super clear and has beautiful corals in front of Sheraton. Not much fishes though. You can kayak along cliffs ( stay far from cliffs when water is rough) & explore caves that is 2 to 3 miles away. You can also encounter dolphins here sometimes.
