If you like chocolate chip cookies, this is worth the drive out to Lake Sammamish for “The Cookie”!! This is a higher end grocery store out in the beautiful area of Lake Sammamish, near Issaquah, and they have a yummy bakery with the best chocolate chip cookies served warm. It’s a drive, but worth it if you’re up for it.

These destinations require an hour or more drive, but are must-see attractions for the Pacific Northwest if you have time.
My. Rainier is gorgeous just for the drive in, but if you can do a little hiking while you’re there or hang out at the Paradise Visitor’s Lodge, those are great options.

Gorgeous! It’s about 3hrs each way but worth the trip. The very ride is beautiful and you may catch some Orcas. If not, whale watching tours are a great option. Otherwise, just visiting the island shops and restaurants is fun.
