Walking on the thousand Island bridge is an amazing experience but not for the faint at heart. Bring camera and down load the “marine traffic” app and you can time it so when you are at the top of the bridge you will see a ship under you!!!! An awesome and once in a life time experience not to mention awesome photos. Call thousand island bridge authority to make sure bridge is open up for season to walk.

An awesome and once in a life time experience not to mention awesome photos. Call thousand island bridge authority to make sure bridge is open up for season to walk.
Great sunsets and walk along the river walk and walk over a small bridge to casino island. Closest you can get to the beautiful shops passing by. Only a ten minute walk from the A-Bay Bungalow. a play ground and a swimming beach and pavilion, and grills to cookout! and great close up view of ships passing and great view of Boldt Castle and Yacht House. Also there is The River Walk. Google "Scenic View Park" This is one of my favorite evening walks with my pup!

Great sunsets and walk along the river walk and walk over a small bridge to casino island. Closest you can get to the beautiful shops passing by. Only a ten minute walk from the A-Bay Bungalow. a play ground and a swimming beach and pavilion, and grills to cookout! and great close up view of ships passing and great view of Boldt Castle and Yacht House. Also there is The River Walk. Google "Scenic View Park" This is one of my favorite evening walks with my pup!
Walking downtown is a fun experience at any time of the day. With all the shops, food, ice cream , bars and main docks on both ends of town. Village park, swimming or just sitting by the river, Always music playing a fun fun time.

great place to sit outdoors by the River and order a bite to eat or a drink. They have an outdoor bar and tables to sit and enjoy the river. called the Tiki bar; usually has entertainment on weekends.

A very state of the art welcome center that is new. A great place to go and not far from here. This is where you park if you want to WALK over the 1000 Island bridge. A fun experience. Bring your camera. download the Marine Traffic app and time it just right to see a big freighter passing underneath you!!! Periodically they do no let you walk the bridge. so just check on that at the welcome center

Great beer
Try the bacon wrapped Jalapeños they are to die for!!!! This is in the village of Clayton just 12 minutes down the road.
Great pizza and great beer. Lyman light is my favorite. Try the bacon wrapped jalapeños a must.
