Kimball Junction is just 5 minutes back towards the highway and is the best location to go for groceries or other necessities. The Kimball junction area includes things such as Smiths, Whole Foods, Post Office, Walmart, Bed Bath and Beyond, Gas Stations, Car Wash, etc.
Historic downtown is a great place to visit while in the area. Go shopping or through galleries in the afternoons and grab dinner or listen to live music in the evenings. Paid parking is typically easy to find in the lots or along the street

Use the bus system to get around
Refer to the transit guide and plan your trip using the myStop app or go.parkcity.org
There is a bus pickup just one block away to pick up #7 Summit Park – Canyons Village (pink line). The bus stop is located near the Elementary School.
If you are going to CANYONS you can take this bus directly to canyons and it will drop you off either at the base of the Cabriolet (Canyons Village Transit Hub) or at the Grand Village
If you are going to PARK CITY, take #7 to the Canyons Village Transit Hub and then catch #6 LIME bus

Transportation to Airport
There are typically very few Uber / Lyft cars available prior to 8AM. If you are leaving on an early flight, we suggest making a reservation the night before and/or coordinating with a driver or taxi service.
We are approximately 30 minutes from the airport, however that time could vary based on traffic and weather conditions.

Park City and Canyons Resort Lift Tickets & Reservations
If you are skiing / snowboarding at Park City or Canyons (both are Park City on the Epic Site and passes can be used at either), all Vail mountains are REQUIRING RESERVATIONS and they do book out.
You can book reservations and your tickets up to 1 week in advance and we have seen Saturdays and Sundays fill up quickly. Try and make reservations as soon as possible if you are planning to use the mountain.
If you do not get a reservation, people do cancel so keep an eye out for openings throughout the week or even the day of.

Liquor Stores
For those coming from out of state and looking to buy more than a beer, it is important to call out some of the details for liquor stores in Utah:
Grocery stores will sell beer (including a decent selection of craft and local beers) and hard seltzer. They will NOT sell wine or liquor, for that you will need to go to a liquor store – typically located nearby.
The closest liquor stores are located in Kimball Junction, the base of Canyons, and Park City
Liquor stores CLOSE AT 7PM and are NOT OPEN ON SUNDAYS. Make sure that you prepare in advance if needed.
