Some of my friends/family's favorite places to eat. Everything from Fancy 5 Star to Local hole in the wall.
A little outside the beaten path, about 40 minutes from the house, but it is rich with local small fishing town history. Everything on the menu is fresh and delicious and the people and atmosphere are rich with Southern Hospitality.

About 20 Minutes from the house, this is a local outpost that is a local favorite. Great country Ham biscuits in the morning and great fishing supplies/clothing/hats etc. Just a cool place.

Super popular local BBQ joint. All the food is delicious, the atmosphere is really fun and their frozen drinks are amazing. Try the Irish Coffee or the Gamechanger. Make sure to Uber after!

Italian Sandwich shop right near the house that is a great stop for lunch or even for food to take to the beach with you. Family run and everything is made in house and fresh. I personally =like the #10 sandwich.

Awesome Peruvian Chicken that would be good for a large family takeout meal on the way home from the beach. The chicken is out of this world and all the sides are delicious. Family Owned and he is very nice.

Great Modern Italian food with a Charleston Twist. Really cool ambiance and a great bar. Nice place, and the service is always great.

My personal favorite Greek/Middle eastern food. There Hummus is incredible and all the sides in the deli case are great and authentic. I personally get the spicy Gyro. They even offer Gluten Free pita.

Hole in the wall Thai place owned by a super nice Thai Family. The whole family works every day and they are just awesome. All the food they sell is cheaper, larger portions and much better tasting (Yes, seriously) than any high end Thai place I have been to. This is good for small group dine in or Takeout. My Favorite Golf Courses
So many Courses to choose from, but these are my favorite. Keep in mind I am about a 100 stroke golfer and try to keep a medium budget.
About 12 minutes from the house, this is a moderately priced but surprisingly really nice course. It was actually designed by some of the same folks who designed Augusta National. I would give this course a 7 on difficulty. Its got a lot of water and long turns. Super fun

The nicer of the two wild dunes courses. This has long skinny par 4's and 5's but very well managed greens and awesome beach front holes on the back. This is about an 80$ course.

This is a good links course. Love the layout and the holes are fun and the greens are nicely kept, but these fairways are dying for a remodel. They are like riding a roller coaster. Still a fun course and the views are unbeatable. Right on the Charleston Harbor

40 Patriots Point RdThis is a good links course. Love the layout and the holes are fun and the greens are nicely kept, but these fairways are dying for a remodel. They are like riding a roller coaster. Still a fun course and the views are unbeatable. Right on the Charleston Harbor
Hands down the nicest course around. I have never been able to play this course but it is definitely a bucket list item. Its world renowned. I havent priced it recently but I believe this is around a 300-500$ course, walking only.

Fun place to golf. Not super expensive, around 45-60$ and they actually have 3 different 9 hole courses that are all very different styles. Fun place to go play 27 if you got it in you, or just pick 2 and play 18.
