Take a picnic and enjoy the grounds of Walka Water Works, steeped in history it features a pump house with striking chimney and ornate brickwork and is one of the largest and most intact 19th Century industrial complexes in the Hunter Valley.
The large lake area with over 140 species of birdlife and walking trails surround the lake.
BBQ facilities and children's playground. Open daily from 7 am to 7pm during daylight savings and 7am to 5pm during non-daylight saving.
