Plenty of day-time boutique shopping and coffee spots. Nothing better than a sunny day in Ponsonby. Great dinner or drinks options for later in the day. Check out Ponsonby Central for lots of restaurant options if you can't manage to decide your cuisine in advance.

AT journey planner
If you’re planning to use public transport get an Auckland Transport (AT) Hop card. This considerably reduces the fare. Also use the journey planner app. However public transport isn’t “great” in Auckland. So check out Uber, Ola, Beam etc.
