If you never have, you should experience a drive-in theater before they're all gone. Always a double feature but they start late in summer because it's not dark until 8:30 - 9 p.m. Affiliated with the Cameo theater in-town.

A very sweet spot along the Willamette River to launch your boat or just hang out and picnic. Always wear a life jacket when swimming - there is a dangerous undercurrent in this area. Memorial Day Power Boat Races are held here each year.

Part of the Columbia Gorge east of Portland. The falls are stunningly beautiful - especially after significant rain! And the best part is that you just have to tumble out of your car in the parking lot and you're there (which was perfect when taking my 85 year old mom).
