You don't have far to go to see beautiful large Kauri trees. Just pop into Warkworth, and go for a walk through these giant wonders, and then why not take a little extra time to visit the museum on site. Pack a picnic and make an afternoon of it.

Tudor Collins DriveYou don't have far to go to see beautiful large Kauri trees. Just pop into Warkworth, and go for a walk through these giant wonders, and then why not take a little extra time to visit the museum on site. Pack a picnic and make an afternoon of it.
If you are anything like my husband, and love animals, you can't go past visiting the Perfect Alpaca Farm.
They have many many alpacas ranging in ages and colors, a store should you want a special something to remember your trip, and food should you wish to feed them (just don't bring one home, yes they also sell them!)

Horse Riding Warkworth caters for riders with all levels of experience, and you may get the opportunity to jump at the end if you're experienced enough! Simply can't recommend this place more.

Why not enjoy The Range in Warkworth. An all-weather facility offering golf, baseball/softball, cricket, air rifle shooting and mini golf in a relaxed atmosphere. An ideal stop-off during the week or at the weekend for a bit of fun with family or friends.

Jim has a real passion for Italy and its wines, and especially likes the idea of matching those varieties, along with the French whites, with local food. Food, wine and good company are what it is all about.
It’s great fun to go along and see the amphorae in action and sample the wines. Jim is developing the outdoor area next to the cellar so that you can enjoy the wine while looking out across the vines
