Sightseeing
Jensen’s grove has a great biking/jogging/skating path. You can simply go around the lake or do a beautiful 10 miles loop out along the river to Rose Pond and back. It also has a beachfront and boating as well as an 18 hole disc golf course! It also has a skateboard park and a fabulous children’s playground

Craters of the Moon is such a unique landscape. We love to go and hike there. You can see down into old
Volcanos. Hike to caves and just enjoy the landscape. We love to visit Pickle Place in Arco after we go to Craters of the Moon. They have fried pickles and amazing cheese curd. Other food as well of course.

Craters of the Moon is such a unique landscape. We love to go and hike there. You can see down into old
Volcanos. Hike to caves and just enjoy the landscape. We love to visit Pickle Place in Arco after we go to Craters of the Moon. They have fried pickles and amazing cheese curd. Other food as well of course.
Lava Hot Springs is a short drive of about an hour away and has an amazing Olympic size pool with diving boards, slides, platforms and a kiddie pool. They have a section open year round. The Hot Pools at Lava are open year round as well. They are amazing and there are pools of different temperatures to choose from. There are many different restaurants in Lava as well. We love going to the Royal Hotel and Pizzaria for some Pizza after!

195 N Center StLava Hot Springs is a short drive of about an hour away and has an amazing Olympic size pool with diving boards, slides, platforms and a kiddie pool. They have a section open year round. The Hot Pools at Lava are open year round as well. They are amazing and there are pools of different temperatures to choose from. There are many different restaurants in Lava as well. We love going to the Royal Hotel and Pizzaria for some Pizza after!
Less than an hour away Bear World is a fun place to see all kinds of wildlife. Bears of course but also Buffalo, Elk and Deer and many others. You can drive through in your car!

Food scene
Can I just say YUM! They seriously have the most amazing Brisket and fresh cut fries. Call ahead because if they run out for the evening they close...... so so sad. You won’t want to miss their food. Just a little local hometown Restraunt with amazing food.

We LOVE their food. They bring you chips and salsa and warm refrained beans while you decide what to order. So good. I always love enchiladas, but their Macho Burrito smothered is amazing as well as their fajitas.

Great locally owned grocery store. They carry the best Ice Cream ever. Go to their ice cream counter and get Reed Dairy Ice Cream in cone or cup. You won’t be sorry. If you love Chocolate Milk, Reeds Dairy(a local dairy in Idaho Falls) that they carry there at Keslers is the best I have ever had! It is amazing. Keslers produce department is fantastic and they carry local when possible. They also have a great little garden center! Obviously groceries are their specialty.
Kesler's Market
925 W Bridge StGreat locally owned grocery store. They carry the best Ice Cream ever. Go to their ice cream counter and get Reed Dairy Ice Cream in cone or cup. You won’t be sorry. If you love Chocolate Milk, Reeds Dairy(a local dairy in Idaho Falls) that they carry there at Keslers is the best I have ever had! It is amazing. Keslers produce department is fantastic and they carry local when possible. They also have a great little garden center! Obviously groceries are their specialty.
If you are in the mood for Chinese Food try Hong Kong Restraunt or their buffet location across from Walmart. We love their sweet and sour chicken or broccoli beef. They also have great fried rice and many other choices.

302 NE Main StRupe’s is the local Burger/Shake place. They have root beer soft serve ice cream! But the best in our opinion is their Pink Floyd Shake. Try it! You will love it! They have the old fashioned pull up and order from your car and they walk your food out or you can go on in and enjoy your food inside.
Such a wonderful local place to get food! A hidden gem. It took me a while to discover they were there. So glad I did. They have amazing Breakfast and fabulous soups and Panini’s (I LOVE their ultimate BLT panini 😋) as well. Many other choices as well. You definitely won’t regret choosing to eat there.
