Have fun at this white water park located right in town on the river! There’s an area to surf or kayak. Bring your wetsuits as the rivers always cold if you want to play on the waves. There’s a separate section to take your floaties down. You can also take out here for continue to float past the beautiful homes on the river down to the final destination of Drake park.

Bring your wetsuits as the rivers always cold if you want to play on the waves. There’s a separate section to take your floaties down. You can also take out here for continue to float past the beautiful homes on the river down to the final destination of Drake park.
Walking around Drake park along the river is wonderful. Located right downtown, grab a coffee or tea and take a stroll. Enjoy the massive ponderosa pine trees! This is also the last spot to take your floaties out if you’ve floated the river.

Drake Park
Northwest Riverside BoulevardWalking around Drake park along the river is wonderful. Located right downtown, grab a coffee or tea and take a stroll. Enjoy the massive ponderosa pine trees! This is also the last spot to take your floaties out if you’ve floated the river.
Look out the back door to the left and you’ll see Pilot Butte state park! This is a great hike that brings you to an amazing viewpoint. You can also drive to the top! You can see all of Bend, the cascade mountains and even as far as Mt. Hood which is by Portland on a clear day! There’s also a park and playground located at the base where the trail starts. You can walk from the house or drive and park at the trailhead. The giant photo on the wall in the great room is the view you’ll get from the top!

Look out the back door to the left and you’ll see Pilot Butte state park! This is a great hike that brings you to an amazing viewpoint. You can also drive to the top! You can see all of Bend, the cascade mountains and even as far as Mt. Hood which is by Portland on a clear day! There’s also a park and playground located at the base where the trail starts. You can walk from the house or drive and park at the trailhead. The giant photo on the wall in the great room is the view you’ll get from the top!
Hike around Smith Rock to take in the beauty that surrounds us! Amazing hiking trails and world renowned rock climbing too! The river runs through the canyon and is just stunning! Only 45 minutes north of Bend.
