Port Douglas is iconic and a must see if you come to Cairns. It is a short scenic drive and well worth it. It is famous for its beaches where a number of movies were filmed.
Your Skyrail experience from Smithfield to Kuranda (and back) should take approximately 2 ½ hours. This includes time to explore the two rainforest stations.
