Off of Hwy 129, Lance Crossing neighborhood is a quiet, calm neighborhood with a lot of mountain homes, and some with spectacular views of the mountains. Stay on Highland Trace and keep going all the way to the end, which takes you to the highest elevation point in the neighborhood with awesome views of the mountains. The views are even better on the way back down.

We love Odom Springs Vineyards for the peaceful, calm, property that it's located on. They have events here by the pond until this Covid thing shows up. Their wines are pretty good. It's one of the 'newer' wineries out here. It's just a little out of the way from the cabin and nothing is out here in this direction other than Walmart.

637 Odom RdWe love Odom Springs Vineyards for the peaceful, calm, property that it's located on. They have events here by the pond until this Covid thing shows up. Their wines are pretty good. It's one of the 'newer' wineries out here. It's just a little out of the way from the cabin and nothing is out here in this direction other than Walmart.
It's not in Blairsville, however, it needs to be mentioned if you're up in this neck of the woods. It's located in the next town over to the east of the cabin about 30min away. Crane Creek offers easily the best view and atmosphere you could find in North Georgia or in Georgia in general. Their wines are great; they serve snacks too. Pets are welcome. If you're heading towards Young Harris or Hiawassee, then you definitely need to make a stop here to fill up!

Crane Creek offers easily the best view and atmosphere you could find in North Georgia or in Georgia in general. Their wines are great; they serve snacks too. Pets are welcome. If you're heading towards Young Harris or Hiawassee, then you definitely need to make a stop here to fill up!

If you like Cuban food, then you must try this place. Good Cuban places we had were all in the city, so we weren't expecting much but we were pleasantly surprised how good the food is and how great the servers were. Call ahead and pickup will save you so much time as the wait can be rather long due to how popular it is.

Good Cuban places we had were all in the city, so we weren't expecting much but we were pleasantly surprised how good the food is and how great the servers were. Call ahead and pickup will save you so much time as the wait can be rather long due to how popular it is.
If you like Mexican food, this restaurant offers an extensive menu and the food are great. One of the highly ranked Mexican restaurant on our list for sure. They have dine-in now and spacious inside that can accommodate large groups. They even got me a to-go cup for my margarita!

Great little hole-in-wall breakfast spot. Can be quite busy on Saturdays but the wait isn't bad at all. We like to walk around the round-about to check out all the shops while we wait for a seat.
