St Agnes is a vibrant, friendly village community. The coastline is an area of outstanding natural beauty and is accessable by footpaths and or cars for those not wishing to walk far. There are carparks in most areas and National Trust Parking.
There are plenty of outdoor activities to keep you busy, these include walking, cycling, surfing, snorkeling and kayacking.
There is a Mining History to this area and there is evidence in the form of derelict and occupied Engine Houses, capped mineshafts, and surface mines. Wheal Coates is situated on the cliff top with stunning views of the coastline and is often photograghed with the sun setting behind it.
The amenities in the village cater for all tastes and are second to none.
There are regular buses to the City of Truro, Perranporth seaside town. A good local Taxi service is available if required.
