Good breakfast / coffee stop on your morning beach walk
We only really recommend it for breakfast. The breakfasts are good but the coffee is a bit hit and miss. However, the location and the views over Gonubie Bay make it worth a stop on your morning beach walk

Excellent breakfasts and coffee, lovely peaceful setting
Lavender Blue is by far our best breakfast and lunch location. They are not open for dinner. The restaurant and small market is a modern farm style location, overlooking a pretty lake with indoor and outdoor seating. It's peaceful, the food and coffee is great and its suitable for everyone. It's a short (10 mins) drive from Gonubie and our top recommendation!

Gonubie RdLavender Blue is by far our best breakfast and lunch location. They are not open for dinner. The restaurant and small market is a modern farm style location, overlooking a pretty lake with indoor and outdoor seating. It's peaceful, the food and coffee is great and its suitable for everyone. It's a short (10 mins) drive from Gonubie and our top recommendation!
Long time Gonubie favourite, hearty and cosy pizzeria
Hearty, homely, cosy pizzeria. Been in Gonubie for over 30 years. Nothing fancy but good and wholesome family restaurant. Also offer good takeaway pizza and menu (delivery or collect). Open evenings only.

교통편
No public transport - it's all about walking or own vehicle!
Almost everything you need is within 10 - 15 mins walking distance in Gonubie (from our place). However, your own vehicle is recommended to get to bigger malls and restaurants, or to visit any of the surrounding villages / beaches etc
준비물
Warm climate
East London is pretty warm year round, but can get a bit chilly in winter between June to October (seldom will get down to 10 degrees celcius at night and averages 20 - 25 degrees celcius during the day). It's wonderfully warm and quite humid in summer. Winters are dry, summer is the rainy season (but mostly afternoon showers) with plenty of sunshine in between! Gonubie enjoys a wonderful climate.

Great place for beaches, not renowned for fine dining!
Gonubie is a laid back coastal town and it's biggest draw card is the lovely beach and river, surfing, fishing, paddling etc. You can get all the basics you need, but it's not renowned for shopping or fine dining!
