There are also excellent hiking options nearby.

It is the second oldest art museum in the state and its permanent collection includes nearly 5,000 works of art from the Taos Society of Artists, Taos Moderns, and contemporary artists.

The Blue Bus: ‘TSV Green’ Route (341) is fare-free and has a stop a half mile from the casita at the JCT of NM-230 and Ski Valley Rd (150) for transportation (Thurs-Sun) to and from the Ski Valley (Dec-Mar.) All of its buses are ADA accessible and equipped with bicycle racks. The RTD provides service on 28 Fixed and Flex routes (26 of which are fare-free), two Demand Response routes and one Dial-a-Ride service.
