Stone Mountain is an old, small local town with an interesting and fun town center. The town is adjacent to Stone Mountain Park, which hosts hiking, biking, golf and lots of other activities. You can drive to the park and pay to enter and park, or you can enter by foot or bike from Stone Mountain town center for free.

A really solid small local science museum with a wonderful set of permanent exhibits and really wonderful visiting exhibits
