They don't take reservations, so I put my name on the wait list and have a glass of Lambrusco at Red Red Wine bar while I wait.

This is a true Italian delicatessen - family owned and operated. Breads are baked daily. Meats and cheeses are fresh and simply the best. ALL signature sandwiches are delicious. Traditional Italian desserts and cakes. They also have a lovely wine selection. Perfect for ordering a picnic lunch to go for enjoying on the beach!

Middleton Tavern is one of my favorite spots in downtown Annapolis. The food is typical and traditional. Great service. Casual environment. There is a wonderful piano bar upstairs and music begins promptly at 9pm Thursday - Saturday. Arrive early to get a seat. This is a favorite spot for locals so it will get crowded. The piano singer is extremely talented and super fun!

Oddly, there are no fresh fish markets in Annapolis so Wholefoods is a great option. I recommend the fresh Tubot if they have it. White - not too flaky - not too fishy.
