A family-owned restaurant in a colourful chalet next to the slopes. In the winter you can get there only by ski (slope number 7) or you can book for dinner and the staff will bring you up on snowmobile. Traditional foods include polenta, carbonade (beef or wild game stew), raclette (potatoes and cheese), mushrooms.

63 Rue du Mont BlancLa Thuile can be relatively expensive for fruits, vegetables and food in general. So, if you have a car, and you want to save some money it is better if you shop in Famila super market in near-by Morgex. You can do this on your way back from a visit in Courmayeur or in Pré St. Didier Thermal baths
This is La Thuile's main street where you can find a variety of shops: (from the entry of the village) a mini market, the pharmacy, the tourist office, the butcher (where you can buy an excellent roasted chicken if you don't feel like cooking) , a fruit and vegetables shop and a delicatessen shop very nice but also very expensive, a liquer shop with an impressive offer of wine and spirits, a sportswear shop (the most complete in La Thuile for winter sports) and an excellent cheese shop.

Towels and flip flops are provided. To be sure to get in, book your entry in advance. The entry is €48, € 42 after 5PM. Massages apart.

This experience can be enjoyed by everyone, unless health problems with high altitudes. It is quite expensive: €48, but there are interesting forfaits with Courmayeur ski pass that make it convenient if you want to try Courmayeur slopes. During the summer, Télécabine Panoramique Mont-Blanc connects the Italian Mont Blanc Peak to Aiguille du Midi (3842 m), and a third cable way brings you to Chamonix.

I suggest to try one of their signature cocktails. Nira Montana has also a restaurant where you can taste a really genuine pizza prepared by a chef from Naples (cocktail is about € 8, pizza €14)

Il Mulino is probably the verge of La Thuile nightligfe. It is a large disco pub in an old mill. It opens and closes, because this kind of entertainment seems not to be very profitable in sleepy La Thuile, but it is very close to home, so you can check it quite easily.
