Sightseeing
White sandy beaches are nearby. Sandy Bay is a renown surf beach, about a 20 minute drive north. Along the way are Woolley’s Bay and Matapouri. Walks to the lighthouse and the largest Kauri are described further in our compendium. Tutukaka cafes shopping and restaurants also.
