Excellent cafe, garden centre, farm shop and ample grounds including a walled garden (fig, pear and apple trees laden with fruit in late summer). Sweeping lawns with majestic oaks - perfect for picnics.

We have been going to ‘The Three Acres’ for special family gatherings for many years. Definitely worth considering for something special. It’s a little more pricey than your run-of-the-mill restaurant, but worth it. It has a ‘luxury traditional country inn’ feel with a warm ambience and delicious food.

We have been going to ‘The Three Acres’ for special family gatherings for many years. Definitely worth considering for something special. It’s a little more pricey than your run-of-the-mill restaurant, but worth it. It has a ‘luxury traditional country inn’ feel with a warm ambience and delicious food.
Fabulous fish dishes on both occasions that I’ve visited. Country modern vibe - intimate low lighting rather than diner glare. Five minute walk along the Woodhead Road from Holmfirth, but still within striking distance of the central bars and cafes.
