Really beautiful pub with an attractive garden. Also serves great food. There is a challenging circular walk you can do from here to work up a good appetite!

Lovely village with two excellent cafes offering lunch and wonderful cream teas. There are two pubs, the New Inn and the Rugglestone which both do good food and have pretty gardens. There is also a small shop selling supplies, a working forge and a National Trust shop attached to the church.

A small town with a good variety of shops including a butchers, delicatessen and very handy iron mongers. Also the home of the Devon Guild of Craftsmen which has work from a variety of local artists, usually including an exhibition and also a cafe.
