It may be a "private beach" but it's also open to the public. Lots of monkeys at certain parts of the day, hence the name.

One of the best Thai food restaurants here in Ao Nang and a local favorite for several years now. Lost much of its charm after renovation when you are seated in little bamboo huts around the open kitchen with an atmosphere filled with the aroma of Thai food in the air. Now it is a counter at the front and tables on the upper level. Still unpretentious, inexpensive and tasty though.

They also sell day-trips and provide scooter rentals. In the evening after 5PM, the space in front is occupied by a hawker stall serving good BBQ Pork and Wanton noodles. (Sadly, they have closed down from Nov 2016.)

A good value Thai restaurant very near the guesthouse. Love the Prawns in Tamarind Sauce and the Massaman Curry is a must try of course. Consistently a TOP 20 restaurant in Ao Nang for many years now.
