Great pub with a huge selection of local and international beers. Design is really nice. They also host sports events (e.g. UFC). Every day they have specials. My tip: Taco Thursday or the Truffle Burger (if you dare).

Great Italian Cuisine (and said by a picky Italian). They do provide takeaway too. You can easily get food for 6 people for $100. Good value for money. my tip: take away lasagna, meatballs and cannelloni.

Going to Manly
Best way is to catch the 136 (at the stop between Coles and Woolworths) or the 199 bus (at the main bus stop in Dee Why on Pittwater road). The 151 bus is available during the night. If you are a group of four an uber may be more convenient for a similar price.

B1 bus at the main bus stop in Dee why (on Pittwater road close to Woolworths)is the fastest and more frequent way to go to the city.

- Dee Why to Freshwater coastal walk (easy 9km return)
- Narrabeen Lagoon circuit (easy 8km) with coffee/brunch stop-over at the Boatshed Cafe & Bar
- Queenscliff to Shelley Beach (easy, 5km) with possibility to snorkel/swim around Shelley
- Shelley Beach to Collins Beach, through the old quarantine station (medium, 5km)
- Spit bridge to Manly Wharf walk (medium 9km)

a stunning view of the city from North Head (on top of Manly) and great Italian food. perfect place for a breakfast/brunch/lunch after a hike.

Woolworths at 5 Howard Ave (same direction as Coles, but instead of stopping in the arcade continue until you reach Howard Ave.) - approx 350m from the flat

- catch a ferry from Manly to Circular Quay, and pass by the Opera House
- buy a Orchestra ticket on Groupon and enjoy the inside of the Opera House
