The restaurant, a great choice for families or large groups of friends, has a casual, laid-back vibe, which comes in handy—you'll want to leave that white dress shirt at home. The menu is packed with barbecue classics, including pimento cheese fries, burnt ends, Carolina pork, and even fried chicken sandwiches. You may scratch your head when you see tacos on the menu, but they're definitely worth ordering.

Now, with two locations and a third to open soon, Yafo is easily a Charlotte staple -- all in less than two years.
