I have been going to this restaurant for many, many years. Local folks. Local food and local trout on the menu. And the view... well... it sits right on the river and I have been sitting there eating lunch while kayakers and paddle boarders stop in to grab lunch too. They also have music out back in the Summer and Fall.

The lake is fantastic and you can rent pontoons, kayaks and paddleboards. There is also a bar and grill which has excellent wings, burgers and drinks. We stop frequently. :-)

Carters lake is stunning and, at 450 feet deep, it is the deepest lake in Georgia. Gorgeous and good food and rentals at the marina.
