Neighborhoods
Glencairn is a peaceful little suburb in Cape Town, nestled between historic Naval Habour, Simons Town and local fishing suburb Fish Hoek. Glencairn is a great spot due to its easy access to all the attractions on Cape Point. The top ones are Boulders Beach Penguin Colony and the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. We have a little train stop, two tidal pools and a beach. Locals run, cycle, hike, swim, kayak, kite surf, scuba dive, bird watch and whale watch. The Glencairn Wetlands conserves the lower Else River and is home to several bird species, bees and fish. You may also run into mongoose, porcupine(nocturnal), tortoise, snakes and the endangered western leopard toad amongst others.

Food scene
Dixies is a favourite in Cape Town. A local spot to grab good food in a relaxed atmosphere and wonderful view. The Seafood curry and ribs are excellent. Pizzas are also a favourite.
