Little Oak was awarded one of Canada's top 50 restaurants this year, and deservedly so. It is a small and intimate little dining room with one of the areas greatest culinary minds running the kitchen. Each dish we have had there is 'Chef's Table' worthy. Beautiful, balanced, complex, and exciting.

NOT a franchise english pub. This is the real deal. Great cask ales, classic and comforting english foods, a real life fire place, old stone walls. Easily the coziest pub or bar in town.

Summer StreetIf you have been at all feeling confident about your gardening skills, then let me present to you the antidote to all of that. This is definitely Halifax's most brightly coloured spot with an impeccably curated assortment of plants, flowers and trees. You just can't be stressed while you visit here.
This would be Halifax's defacto public park. It is a handsomely large portion of the southern end of the Halifax peninsula that has been set aside for public park land. A veritable forrest in the middle of the city will a refreshing mix of WWII era battlements, and harbour views. Hours are well spent walking these ground.

A veritable forrest in the middle of the city will a refreshing mix of WWII era battlements, and harbour views. Hours are well spent walking these ground.
This is a natural park built around these wild ocean cave formations that are formed due to the unique geography. Campgrounds. Cabins. Exploring the caves, heck, even swimming into the caves if your brave enough. One of Nova Scotias natural wonders.

Need some winter activities to help celebrate winters offerings? The Oval is a recent addition to the cityscape. Originally built as a short-term speed skating rink for the Canada Games, the city was petitioned to make it a permanent fixture. And as such, the Oval was born.
Bring your own skates, or rent skates for free. It is a lovely way to enjoy a nice winters day, and its SO close to the apartment.
