This îs a 15 minute walk from home & open until at least 9 pm. It hosts a nice visitor center, an artsy park, a 1300 ft pier under the Ravenel Bridge. There is a cute gift store with sandwiches ice cream & drinks. There are sometimes movies, festivals & dances & often wedding parties there. It's definitely worth a short visit.

If you are downtown on a Saturday morning in the summer you might enjoy this before you go shopping down King Street. It's eclectic & artsy. If you don't find street parking their is a public parking building on King next to Marion square.

Great for weekend brunch with music
Inexpensive southern food. Pages Okra Grill in Mt Pleasant has lots of outdoor seating but often a long wait for seating. You can get a self made mimosa or bloody mary while you wait. If you can't handle the wait, walk to Shem Creek Restaurant 2 blocks away, also nice and on the creek dock.
