Enjoy this small town with incredible views and friendly smiles. Home of the Chinook Tribe who lived near the downtown area along Lake River. Ridgefield was also a stop for Lewis & Clark as they traveled to the Pacific Ocean in 1805. The beautiful landscape is alluring and even as one of Washington's fastest growing communities with a the city hasn't lost it's small town rural roots. Only about 5 miles away is Ilani Casino and La Center's card rooms, local wineries, brew pubs, the wildlife refuge and a number of scenic parks. Bordering town is Lake River offering fishing, kayaking, boating with access to the Columbia River and Vancouver Lake. In a short distance is the Lewis River, Kalama River and Willamette River.
