Great Panaromic Views from the top. The hike can get steep but should only take around 35 minutes to get to the top. I went with our 4 year olds and they did great.

Chimney Rock has pretty views, easier trails for most all skill levels. There is an admission cost for the park was around $17.00 pp but has interactive things to do, great for kids or families. Kids cost around 8.00 pp.

Triple Falls Trail is a 2.3 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Pisgah Forest, North Carolina that features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Triple Falls Trail is a 2.3 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Pisgah Forest, North Carolina that features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
Beautiful walk, and only a 1/3 of a mile hike from the parking area to the Lower Falls. There are quite a few steps and uphill sections.

Mount Mitchell is off the blue ridge parkway. It has many trails off of it or an just take the easy walk up to observation deck to see views at 6,684 feet. Its the highest point east of the Mississippi River .
Great place to go on a clear day.
