Only 2 miles away, you definitely have to stand on the Gorge Bridge and feel it shake when trucks drive over. Looking 800 feet down while that happens is optional! There is also an endless trail next to the gorge for walking or biking. You can't get lost.

Nice easy hike close to town.
Hike halfway up the Taos Ski Valley Road on the left. Lots of water on it. Pretty easy.
