Walking distance, this is an absolute staple and I highly recommend. Located in the heart of Tarifa old town you can enjoy a range of meet and vegetarian options, patatas bravas are a must. On the higher end side, Silos offers great dining experience, with indoors dining only, if there is strong winds or bad weather it is a great option. Food is fantastic, great cocktails. Walking distance.

Incredible seafood and meat, one of the best tuna tartar in town, everything is simple and delicious. Ernesto is a true local, kind and welcoming. Hands down best view of Tarifa, Africa and Gibraltar straits. This hidden gem, that few people know is a go to meat restaurant, fish is also great. 15 mins drive from town, a great place to go after spending the day at Valdevaqueros or Bolonia beach. Especially in summer when traffic is bad. I would call beforehand and reserve a table on the terrace.

Hands down best view of Tarifa, Africa and Gibraltar straits. This hidden gem, that few people know is a go to meat restaurant, fish is also great. 15 mins drive from town, a great place to go after spending the day at Valdevaqueros or Bolonia beach. Especially in summer when traffic is bad. I would call beforehand and reserve a table on the terrace.
Located amongst the Roman ruins in Bolonia, right on one of the most beautiful beaches in the area, with a view on the sand dunes, well known for its fish. I recommend calling and booking a table beforehand.

If Levante is blowing, go to this place and watch the kitesurfer's fly, few places in the world you can experience such a high level, this is because most of the Pro kitesurfes live in Tarifa, and Train in Balneario. It is a small and very dangerous spot (due to the off-shore winds) so if your level is not high then I would suggest leave it to the pros. Valdevaqueros offers better conditions for all levels.
