Hiking
The Bruce Trail along the magnificent Niagara Escarpment, a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve, is truly a local treasure. The Sydenham portion of the trail skirts the edge of the Escarpment through Georgian Bluffs with stunning views over the water.
Skinner's Bluff is a literal high point on the scenic Sydenham portion of the iconic Bruce Trail. The Skinner's Bluff Management Area is a 17-minute country-road drive from Hindman House. Trust me ... the view out over Colpoy's Bay is absolutely worth it.

Winter fun
With an average annual snowfall of over 330 cm, the whole area around Hindman House is truly a winter wonderland.
Just a 10-minute drive from Hindman House, the Sawmill Nordic Centre is very convenient. It has 11 km of cross-country ski trails and 5 km of snowshoe trails. If you want to rent equipment, Suntrail Source for Adventure is just a kilometer down the highway in Hepworth.
