AKA Hollywood Beach. This is our favorite beach. LGBT-friendly is small and attracts mostly local residents; those who come don't usually arrive in a car. There are bathrooms with showers, a concession stand that sells light snacks and alcoholic beverages, bicycle parking, benches and lots of shallow water. There's also a fishing pier, and a gay volleyball league. It is one of the city's clearest water beaches.
Gays and their friends hang out on the south side of the beach (the right side) and Families on the North end. Most popular on Sundays during the summer.

5800 N Lake Shore Dr AKA Hollywood Beach. This is our favorite beach. LGBT-friendly is small and attracts mostly local residents; those who come don't usually arrive in a car. There are bathrooms with showers, a concession stand that sells light snacks and alcoholic beverages, bicycle parking, benches and lots of shallow water. There's also a fishing pier, and a gay volleyball league. It is one of the city's clearest water beaches.
Gays and their friends hang out on the south side of the beach (the right side) and Families on the North end. Most popular on Sundays during the summer.
