we have a 7 mile stretch of beach with many public access points. It is a great place to have a picnic. we like to stop at northern waters smokehouse and grab sandwiches that we ordered online already to avoid the line. At the very end of the island there is a hiking trail, beautiful beach access, & in certain seasons they offer float plane rides/tours.
