The beautiful & patriotic Air Force Academy, home to the Falcons, is a great stop while here in Colorado Springs! Currently, the well-known chapel is under renovation and will be closed for the next several years, but there's still plenty to see!
Check out a sports game or make a stop at the visitor center where you can learn the history of the Academy. They have many souvenirs to purchase there as well. If you come during summer months, especially, there is a pull off on I-25 where you can watch the gliders and skydivers!
There are also many hiking trails along the Academy.

You could stop here for dinner after a day of sightseeing around Manitou Springs & Garden of the Gods. Before the sun goes down, make sure you walk through the Historic Broadmoor Hotel and onto the grounds where they have lakes and beautiful trees/gardens. It's a perfect backdrop for photos.
You’ll feel transported right to jolly old England at the Golden Bee, The Broadmoor’s 19th century British Pub. The pub was actually transferred to The Broadmoor panel by panel, directly from the UK. While our Fish & Chips have stood the test of time, the new menu embraces some down-home favorites such as Colossal Pretzel Twist, Classic Reuben Sandwich, and Beer Steamed Mussels.
Enjoy nightly ragtime piano and wet your whistle with our extensive British Beer selection and yards of ale. Cheers!
Guests are also encouraged to participate in the cheerful atmosphere by joining the nightly Ragtime piano sing-along. It’s jolly good fun!
