By far our favorite breakfast spot in Visalia. The pancakes are some of the best we have ever had. If they happen to have the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes on special, I would highly recommend getting an order to share. And an order of the Swedish, oatmeal, or buttermilk pancakes is also a must—we usually get an order of all three to share between the five of us.

You may drive up to this spot and immediately doubt our wisdom… It is located in what might feel like a slightly shady part of Visalia, but trust us, it is delicious and a local favorite. The beef pho, especially on a cold rainy day, is pure comfort food.

This might be my favorite place in Visalia. Note that it is located in the same area as Xiong Pho N Seafood and the seating is only outdoors. Their delicious & unique tacos are just about $2 each, but my favorite item on the menu is the ramen. It is so good that I will even get it when the weather is hot. You might be thinking that tacos and ramen are a weird combination, and you are correct, but it works, and you should try it!

Looking for something a little fancier? Our go to nicer restaurant is Jack & Charlies. Fun drinks and the menu is always changing. The venue is really fun too. Look for the vintage red telephone booth and then walk down the stairs to the basement.

Again, don’t be alarmed by this windowless building, it is very clean inside and the food is incredible. The bibimbap with a fried egg is my favorite.
