This place is a must! The food and atmosphere are worth the wait! Local fare and friendly family service top this experience. The restaurant no longer takes reservations so come early, last seating is at 9 p.m. and don’t be discouraged by wait times.

This is a great spot, especially for oyster lovers. Top notch service, but be sure to reserve a seat in advance. Just off the main drag in downtown Charlottetown. Suitable for vegetarians, and many non-seafood options are offered.

The site is that much more enjoyable once you’ve read the novel. Attached store offers mementos, trinkets and treats for sale. Open through late October.
Very fun place not just for kids. Hours of fun on a pay-as-you-go basis, as there is no per-person entry fee. Just a note: it is very busy during daytime hours immediately prior to school’s end (June) as it is a Maritime favourite for year-end school trips. It does close quite early, at 9 p.m.

From the website: “Enjoy play on our challenging, but time friendly, par 36 nine hole layout. Warm up for your round, or just sharpen your skills, on our full size driving range. Green fees, golf cart and club rentals are available.” This is a very popular traveller destination. Played just 10 minutes from the Gables of PEI, and is close to all that Cavendish has to offer.
