You are in Port Severn, Muskoka,but don’t get confused - There are two Port Severns.
One in Simcoe County and One is Muskoka. They are splity by a bridge located at Lock 45. The LCBO is on the Simcoe side.
This is the community where you are staying. Port Severn is one of three communities in Georgian Bay. Honey Harbour and MacTier are the other two.
Here is what you need to know about each of these communities.
Port Severn. You are located right by the Trent Severn Waterway. In fact, if you look out the front bedroom windows you can see Georgian Bay, and the Channel (organized boat passage) is right in front of you. You will see everything from Sea Doo to Cabin Cruisers.
There is an LCBO, a Port Severn General Store, Driftwood Cove with a really great restaurant.

You are about 25 minutes from here. You can get groceries and anything you like. About 17,000 people live in Midland. All of my children went to Highschool in Midland.

A quaint community with a steam punk theme. You can bet groceries, clothing, ice cream, subway, copper pot nuts, home hardware etc in Coldwater. They have a Foodland where we do a lot of our grocery shopping.

Here is one of the neighbouring First Nation communities. You can find Mrs H fish and chips and some really cool smoke shops and liquidation centres.
