This restaurante and location is famous for a regional dish called Cozido à portuguesa, or Portuguese boiled dinner.
Although the dish appears simple, it takes hours to prepare. It is similar to southern US cuisine in that it contains pig ears and feet. You don't have to eat everything, and it also contains other savoury pork meats, and also vegetables. For the adventurous.

This beach is a short and easy walk for the condo. Go out of the main door, turn right then right again. A short distance down the street, on the left, you will see the path to this beach.
